Gotham Business and Professional Women’s Investment Club’s Celebration of Educating Every Child

Meeting Place for New York City Marathon Run

Join us at 4:00 pm on Fifth Avenue and 90th street to cheer Suzanne into Central Park. Suzanne anticiaptes that she will be entering the park around 4:30 pm.

The Educating Every Child Team will be wearing green t-shirts with our logo printed on the back. Look for us. There will be a post marathon celebration which you are invited to attend. The address of the event will be given out when you arrive to cheer Suzanne.

New York City Marathon Run–November 3rd

Join us at the finish line as our board member, Suzanne Dyer, runs her second New York City Marathon to promote Education Every Child and the importance of girls education. You will recognize us by our t-shirts. Time to meet will be posted closer to the day of the race.

Friend Raiser in Silver Spring, Maryland

The Friend Raiser Event on September 21, 2013 will be hosted by a young Ghanaian woman who grew up in the Manya Krobo region of Ghana. Educating Every Child Board President, Genia Peterson, will attend.

Friend-Raiser Party and Presentation

Educating Every Child Board Members will address a gathering of people interested in becoming Friends of EEC.

The hopes and aspirations of the young girls in the program will be shared. Board Members will share their first-hand observations of what life is like in the poor rural communities of Manya Krobo and how education reduces poverty in the area.

Educating Every Child Board Members Genia Peterson and Suzanne Dyer Wise have been invited to speak to the Gotham Business and Professional Women’s Club.

A Power Point presentation explaining the Education Every Child Program will be shown. The hopes and aspirations of the young girls in the program will be shared. Genia and Suzanne will share their first-hand observations of what life is like in the poor rural communities of Manya Krobo. The important role of women’s group in caring for orphaned and abandoned children will be documented.

The presentation is open only to Gotham BPW members and their invited guests.
